Welcome to

Kenya Grannies (Masters) Football Federation

We Are

KGFF

Kenya Grannies(Masters) Football Federation is a community-driven organization dedicated to promoting the active participation of elderly women in football and wellness-centered activities. Rooted in the belief that age should never be a barrier to health, joy, or belonging, our federation was established in 2024 to create opportunities for recreation, social connection, and empowerment through the beautiful game.

Our mission is to promote, administer, and encourage inclusive programs that support elderly women, staff, and faculty in staying physically active and socially engaged. More than just a football federation, we are a family—a safe space where women come together to celebrate life, build lasting friendships, and foster a sense of purpose and unity.

Through our guiding philosophy, “Kick for Health,” we champion holistic well-being, lifelong learning, and community development. Whether on the field or in our outreach efforts, we are committed to uplifting lives and creating a lasting legacy of strength, dignity, and active aging.

Meet the Founder

We are honored to introduce the inspiring founder of Kenya Grannies Football Federation, Dr. Elizabeth J. Keitany ,a passionate advocate for active aging, community empowerment, and women’s wellness.

With a diverse background in public service, Dr. Elizabeth has not only championed the involvement of elderly women in football but has also made a significant impact through her political and community engagement. Her commitment to uplifting society has been evident through generous initiatives such as donating books to schools and founding GEWO (Gracious Empowerment and Women Organization), which focuses on the rehabilitation and empowerment of women formerly engaged in illicit brewing.

Her visionary leadership and belief in second chances, wellness, and community strength led to the formation of Kenya Grannies (Masters) Football Federation in 2024, with a mission to promote healthy living, social inclusion, and recreational activity for elderly women under the powerful concept of “Kick for Health.”

Through her continued dedication, this federation stands as a vibrant space for connection, growth, and the celebration of life—on and off the pitch.
